If your product feed isn’t updating, you’ll see the message “Failed to update products” in your account settings. You can check the details in Settings → Convead Installation → Product Information.
Possible reasons for the issue:
- Feed is unavailable at the specified link
Copy the link and try opening it in your browser to verify access.
- Incorrect format
Convead supports only and Google Merchant XML formats.
- SSL certificate issue
If your product feed link uses an SSL certificate that is currently invalid, the update may fail.
- Server response time is too long
If you have a large number of products, data transfer issues may occur. If the server generating the feed takes too long to respond, the upload may time out.
💡 Recommendation:
We suggest saving your feed as a static file via Cron and updating the feed link in your account settings.
